Winning from Argentina and Germany has always been a great pleasure for the
Brazilian football fans. And I am happy to say that this has happened quite
frequently in the last time. The memory of the winning goals in the World
Cup final of 2002 still brings me joy! Oh, man. I can close my eyes and see
that German keeper? What is his name again? (Some players are so bad that I
cannot even remember their names) Never mind. I can close my eyes and see
that ugly guy trying to catch the ball and Ronaldo shooting to score
another one.
But it took quite long before we could defeat the Germans in a world cup
match. Why? Because the German eagle has always been afraid of being
slaughtered by the Yellow Canaries. In 1954, the German coach Sepp Herberger made his
team lose for the weak Hungary, so that they would not face Brazil in the
following match. Come on! If you want to be the best, you should not be
afraid of any team.
